Step 1: Upload Your Image

Click the upload area or drag and drop an image file. Supported formats include JPG, PNG, and WebP. The image loads instantly and appears in the preview canvas. Your image stays on your device — nothing is uploaded to any server.

Step 2: Enter Your Text

Type your text in the "Text" field. You can write anything — a single word, a sentence, or even multiple lines. Then customize the appearance:

Font Family: Choose from 10 curated fonts — from professional (Inter, Roboto) to decorative (Pacifico, Permanent Marker)
Font Size: Adjust from 10px to 200px. The preview updates in real-time
Font Weight: Switch between Normal and Bold
Text Color: Use the color picker to choose any color for your text

Step 3: Position & Style

Place your text exactly where you want it:

Drag on canvas: Click and drag the text directly on the preview to position it precisely
Quick Position: Use the 9-position grid (top-left, center, bottom-right, etc.) for fast placement
Outline: Add a colored outline around your text for readability. Set the color and width (0-10px)
Shadow: Add a shadow blur to make text pop off the image (0-30px)
Opacity: Make text semi-transparent (10-100%) for watermarks
Rotation: Rotate text from -180° to 180° for creative effects

Step 4: Download

When you're happy with the result, choose your output format and click "Download". The file saves immediately to your device. No watermarks, no quality loss.

Currently, the tool supports one text element per image. For multiple text layers, you can download the result and upload it again to add a second text element. We're considering multi-text support in a future update.

No. All processing happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images and text never leave your device. There is no server that receives or stores your files.

We offer 10 curated Google Fonts that cover a wide range of styles. Custom font uploads aren't currently supported, but we've selected fonts that work well for most use cases — from professional to decorative.
